Today was not the best day but I decided I would make the best of it and highlight it here.Kindness is always my first choice. Trying to remember to carefully choose my words. I am really good at it when the little grands are around. Drinking a cup of hot tea to calm away the hectic times.
Did you know God tells us to be happy in Scripture than any other command?
I like to ponder these words.
I learned this from my father. He lived his life out and when I read the Book of James for the first time, I saw my father in it. He lived a very exemplary life. He was kind, humble, faithful, truthful, honest, filled with character and integrity. Whenever I feel sad or down in the dumps I reread this book. It makes me happy because I will always be reminded of my dad.
Rest well and I am hoping and praying we meet here again tomorrow. Have a good rest.

Even on the worst days, if one looks there is always something to be happy about.
You mentioned truffles here and on your other blog. I'm glad the Fed-Ex guy showed up with our truffles.
I can see why you are the way you are...your father. Excellent.

I did not know this. I always thought love was the most written command. I like learning new things like this!
Kindness is always the best choice. XO
Great list of happiness! 🤗
A beautiful list, and your father left you an excellent legacy.
