We can churn ice cream with the old crank ice cream maker. Somethings are just that rare treat you have once in a couple years.

This boy Finn looks so different today than he did in June 2019. He is a happy pup and he loves to be with people. He is a perfect Happy Tuesday share. His sister was stung by a bee this evening and he would not leave her side. To be honest, all the pups, Momma Lulu , Loki, Thor and Leo circled around her and would not leave her side. She had her leg soaked in epsom salts and warm water and was given Children's Benadryal. She is resting comfortably now. Poor litle girl. It is good to have such a sweet brother.

Saturday night, Noelle watched Harrison and Shea. This girl was wound up tight. Noelle asked if I would make the chamomille tea and bring it to her. Tarrah, Andrew's wife gave me this great tip. Strong brew a two cup container with Chamomille tea. Add a bit of sugar and cool to room temperature, Most children will go to sleep. Not the "Undertaker" as Noelle called Shea. She was lying down so nice and finished two bottles of chamomille tea. Years ago the WWFederation, you might know Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage. Well, the Undertaker was one of those pro wrestlers. Just when you thought he was finished, B O O M ! He popped up again, hahaha, that is Shea.
This girl is something else. She will not miss out on any action that is happening. She is like the wrestler the Undertaker because she likes to spell doom for those of us caught in her web of cuteness. HaHaHa. Very thankful this little girl is in our lives.

Maxine may be right on this one! We lived outdoors in the summertime, only coming in to eat lunch and than in the evening to have dinner and phamily time. The outdoors was our playground. I am glad I had the childhood I did.

I have more pairs of Betty Boop earrings than I have other earrings! I use to have t shirts and nightshirts and watches too. Betty Boop was before my generation but something about her has always made me smile. My middle sister had her entire kitchen in Betty Boop! Nicole, from my Princess Hoiuse days, had a Betty Boop collection that was spectacular.
We are in the middle of a heat wave and I am dreaming about cooler weather. My husband is a human hot water bottle. Sigh....nice in the wintet months. But he is a good backstratcher and also gives a good back rub so I am content. He sures makes me "Happy"

Devin turned 14 on July 17th. He was having a phamily dinner with his cousins. Harrison, like his dad, loves Olive Garden too. It is hard to believe Devin is so grown up. Happy Birthday to Devin! #1 Soccer Player in our phamily.
This boy Logan turned 2 on July 18th. He has come such a long way from where he was being born 3 months early in 2019. God was good and all the prayers that went up for this boy were very much appreciated. Happy Birthday Logan! #1 Daddy's Boy!

We had a good time visiting with Noelle and Roger while Hannah, Rebekah and Jake went kayaking. Lots of folks were on the water and it made for a perfect day. Happy Tuesday.
We ended our evening with Pho with our niece Stacie and her phamily. It was a delightful time. We always enjoy their company. More phamily fun coming our way the rest of this week.

Denver is hosting the 2021 MLB All Star game . My husband is grateful and thankful he will be off all of next week. The traffic downtown will be unbelievable.There is too much controversy so I won't let it spoil my love of the game of baseball regarding the move from Atlanta to Denver. The politics, ugh, take it away from me! Watching Brody play T Ball is a thrill for me. You can see some of the little ones are going to have real talent. Some are shy and quiet, others just came to have fun and baseball is fun. I won't let anyone ruin my thoughts on the game. My folks both played it, I played it, my two brothers played. It is truly American as apple pie.
Noelle brought this apple pie to the bbq. Slice by slice it will disappear.
Missing Harrison and Shea this weekend. But they went boating with their grammies. Harrison is quite a crackup. His grammie Lisa said he told her , if I watch that movie I will fall asleep straightaway! Is he British and no one told us? That child is hilarious. I see some comedy in his future. This photo was Harrison in April 2016. He was so small and I loved watching him sleep. I cared for him two days a week back than and I love that he still likes to come over, climb on the bed with me and watch cartoons. I heard his sister Shea was steering that boat. She has the "Captain" personality.

8 years ago on June 21, 2013 ister Kitty came to live with us. As you can see here, he was tiny and cute. But filled with mischief too. He was the king of unwrapping an entire roll of toilet tissues before you could say N O ! Like a toddler, that is a word felines do not understand (or so they like you think they don't understand)! Ha! He is due for his vet visit in a few weeks. He is so big now I have to find a carrier for him because he no longer fits in his original one.
He is a happy Tuesday moment.

My prayer list grows longer each day: Prayers for both Mary D and Harold as they navigate illness and injury. I pray daily for all the widows I know. My father took care of the widows in our phamily so I know I am similar to him. I can pray for them everyday. Lydia and Mark both had surgery and need prayer for recovery and healing. Paul lost his way, he needs pray to find his way back . He was an incredible encourager and lost his mom and brother tragically and just turned away from anything and anyone kind. I pray he finds his way back to where he needs to be. Lorna is is getting ready for a complex surgery/ Amanda and Aaron expecting triplets in November 2021. Lex and Jake expected a new baby in October 2021 and Janna and Brian expecting a baby in November as well. Traci who fell and broke her hip. SHe comes home this week but today was her husband Patrics birthday as well as their 21st wedding anniversary. It is going to be a long road to recover. Please pray. Laura the daughter of Marcia and Mike who have had their own struggles with health. Laura and her phamily are missionaries in Africa and she has been terribly ill but getting stronger each day. Thank you.

This one made me laugh! When I was a young woman, I loved Tequila. Then I got married and had kids. Traveling with a friend, when my kids were small, we went to a bar to meet her friend and a gentleman wanted to buy me a shot! I said, only if you have the ambulance on standby because I have small kids, I don''t do that tequila shot stuff anymore." I prefer Shirley Temple's like my childhood when my mom would take me to the bowling alley on Tuesday afternoon. We stopped at Gus's Place where they made the best Dutch Lunch and my mom and her friends would have a beer. Gus or his son Freddy would always bring me a Shirley Temple. I can smile about the humor and the silly jokes Loretta shares.
