Happy Tuesday
How about a happy face for you today? Piper stopped to pose because she rules the bed at Noelle and Roger's house. I hope you visit Happy Tuesday
God's Word. I know I need to sink deep into it daily to stay away from the enemy roaming the earth.
I have a board at Pinterest called Where I Go To Pray. I love to snap photos of churches everywhere I go. This little church was on the way to the Horsetooth Reservoir near Fort Collins, Colorado today.
We had a good time visiting with Noelle and Roger while Hannah, Rebekah and Jake went kayaking. Lots of folks were on the water and it made for a perfect day. Happy Tuesday.
We ended our evening with Pho with our niece Stacie and her phamily. It was a delightful time. We always enjoy their company. More phamily fun coming our way the rest of this week.
Sweet Dreams everyone. I will try to be back to catch up with more commenting. I hope your day was wonderful and tomorrow will be even better.Sunday, July 11, 2021
Grateful for....
All day today, I stopped and thanked God for all the good things in my life. My husband and I had a wonderful conversation over the Book of John. There were several verses we discussed. I feel like God is all powerful and He could change a heart. But there are many who do not believe in Him so He does not need to change their heart. Here are the verses. Perhaps you can add insight if you would like.
Here is the next verse:The final verse:Saturday, July 10, 2021
Birthday Bash and Baseball
We started our day by get a few last minutes items at the grocery store. We dropped them off to Rebekah and we hit the ballfield to watch Brody play T Ball.
Blake said third base looked inviting and he cant wait to play next year. God willing.
Blake decided he could round those bases too. He is always excited to see Brody play but it is hard cause he wants to join the fun. Instead of getting my beauty sleep here I am at 11:14 P.M, watching the bottom of the ninth with the Rockies in San Diego. The rockies had been ahead 3-0. We shall wait and see.Friday, July 9, 2021
B L O G
I am in the middle of spending the next week with our kids. Hannah and Jake will be leaving after this week . It is always hard to see them go. We have the birthday party tomorrow, Lots of things going on and I am going to try to sneak over and keep this moving along as much as I can this week. If you know of any bloggers that are still possibly at social media or elsewhere remind them how much people miss them. I would love to see a revival of the bloggers.
We hope to take a road trip. What fun we have when we are all together. Nick has a busy time at his job. This is their busy time so he will be tied to his desk starting Monday. I am praying something good will come up and we can go away from a bit. In 2019 after their wedding we traveled to Holly, Colorado with Jake and Hannah and visited Avery's grandparents farm. His uncle Bud is still there and two of his children, his sons, will be moving down there to continue farming. It is a long trip but a nice one because the quiet country air and the lack of hustle and bustle is a vacation in itself. I like trips like that.
I want to continue writing more about blogging and getting some of those bloggers back in business. I hope you will pass it on to those you know. In the meantime, have a great weekend and enjoy. I am long past my bedtime so off to slumberland I go. Take care and always hoping we meet here again. Goodnight.

Tuesday 4 All About Blogging!
I am new blogging with Tuesday 4 in memory of Toni Taddeo. This week the questions were supplied by Pamela Steiner. Let's talk about blogging:
1. Tell us about your blog. When did you start blogging? My good friend Barb suggested I start blogging when our little poodle Tinkerbell became very ill in 2009. My first post was November 1, 2009. I wasn't very good at it but as time went by, I improved. I don't have a fancy schmancy blog or two. I made the decision a few years ago to blog aobut my heritage because I was encouraged by my great cousin Mike. Now Mike loved writing about where we grew up. The neighborhood and all those wonderful memories. So I devoted an entire month to blogging about our neighborhood and shared stories and photos. It kicked off more blog posts and although I don't have the know how, I scrape by because I am devoted to it. I included my faith and found some were turned off. All I can say about that is I know faith is important. I know God listens. I have seen Him turn a life around. So thank you very much, I will profess my faith as long as I am able.
2. What prompted you to blog? Besides Tinkerbell and her liver disease, I felt I could make some on line friends, who were very much like me. I have really journaled with it too. I want to write down those memories, the stories, the words I have heard. My phamily is so important to me. My first blog is Phamily Blog. I spent many years in the small business market selling Princess House and I loved the abbreviation PH for everything. So I took Phamily Blog as my title. Unfortunately, there are several other variations of that name . Unless you can afford a patent or can purchase the name outright you deal with others having similar titles but entirely different blogs. More stories on one such blog I came across in my journey later. I love my "Phamily" so I love writing about them. One husband, five kids, 6 grand kids and 11 great grands. Lots of pets, many happy times, many sorrows. We have seen it all. I started my second blog, My Tata's Cottage because aside from the fact that my maternal grandmother Cecilia was my BFF I also adored her younger sister, my Tata Rose too. I loved her tiny cottage like home. When she passed away and all her children were gone as well, I had hoped and prayed someday I could buy that little home, move it away and create a little cottage space. So I still dream about it. But the love I have for my sweet grandmother, gone from my life since 1967 and my Tata since 1985 remains forever.
3. What was your first blog about and what was the subject/title? I seem to talk too much most times . I sort of explained all of this in question #2. I had hoped to create a place where people stopping by would be able to enjoy a few minutes of fun and humor, encouragement and prayer, A place where we could form friendships and enjoy the company of others like us. My blogs do not sync. I jumped ahead, missing a step when I created my second blog. So I often have difficulties linking my posts elsewhere. I am tech un- savvy so my photos and posts are not as polished as others. But I never want to have a blog filled with advertising (Goodness, I try to get away from it everywhere I go). I am never going to be rich making money here and I love my little life. I love the friendships. My blog is my personal journal times two.
This was a different kind of blog post today. I am going to do more like this. I appreciate each person who stops by and I love reading my comments. Since our kids are here until next week, I am sneaking a few hours of blogging as I can. Have a wonderful night. Sleep well, dream beautiful dreams and praying we are all here tomorrow for another day.
I learned this verse from my dad. He often said this to us. I say it everyday now. Only God holds the answer to our lives and how long we will remain on this earth.
