Friendly Fill In's and Pink Saturday

I f you visit these two ladies, you will want to join this fun. Ellen and Lorianne share the weekly fun by each thinking up two of these selections:

My Answer are here:

1. I am contemplating trying to downsize my closet and sell some of my clothes. I have too much.

2. My prayer is that people would be kinder to each other and stop being mean about all that is going on in the world. It  affects each and every person and no one knows what is on someone elses heart and mind.

3. I can do our laundry in record time. I have it down to a science and it is a place that gives me great peace and joy.

4. I miss the days when life was simple and kindness not hateful ruled. I miss my childhood. It was a perfect world to me because of the way I was raised.

I met Holly through LuLaRoe. She was diagnosised with leukemia and yet her shining personality never stopped shing through. She had to take a break because she was hospitalized but she kind heart keep shining. She lost all of her hair but has some colorful wigs and I love this one. Her pink hair makes her smile even brighter. I also love her BoHo style dress.  Continue to pray for her. CUrrently she is home with a second round of chemo that she is able to be home with. Life is hard, I just keep praying harder.

I can not count the years that Beverly has hosted Pink Saturday. I have been with her since 2010. She is gracious hostess and even while she and her husband were moving she kept up the blog hop. I thought Holly's pink hair was a perfect match for this today.

            RANDOM MEMORIES
I have many beautiful memories from  Pink Saturday. I made several wonderful friends. Cece passed away in Septpember 2010. She taught me to be polite and comment to every sinfle participate. Back than hundreds of people participated. But I did it many times in honor of my sweet friend gone too soon.
I wish more people came over and shared their favorite pinks.

Feline Friday and More

Feline Friday

My boy Boots was so handsome, he was the kindest feline who ever lived. He was smart and always knew when I needed cuddles with him. I stillhave this magnetic frame on my fridge.  He is always and forever in my heart.

Humor for Feline Friday too. Whenever I feel sad, I have to find some humor. Those silly rabbits are all over my neighborhood. They multiple so quickly. I was watering my plants outside the other day and I noticed a rabbit sitting under the spray of my garden hose. He looked so happy getting a morning shower. This cat is clever, that is no doubt. The rabbits don't seem to mind that he's there.

1. I am contemplating_______________________.

2. My ________________are__________________.

3. I can ________________in record time.

4. I miss the days when __________________.

Please visit Ellen and Lorianne who share hosting Friendly fill In's. They each think up these great thoughtful selections. Come join the fun. Tomorrow we will reveal our answers.

Thankful Thursday

 Thankful Thursday

I am always thankful when Thursday rolls around. It gives me one more day before I get to spend the whole weekend with my sweetheart.

I am thankful that Nick's friend Andre DeGrasses won a gold medal at the Olympics. We were very happy to see him win his race.

I am thankful the heat cooled down a bit and we have had some light rain in the late evening.

Thankful to see the grass turning such a beautiful shade of emerald green.

Someone posted this beautiful poem and photo at social media:

Just thought this was so beautiful! 😊
I want to age like sea glass.
Smoothed by tides,
but not broken.
I want my hard edges to soften.
I want to ride the waves
and go with the flow.
I want to catch a wave
and let it carry me
to where I belong.
I want to be picked up
and held gently by
those who delight in my
well earned patina and
appreciate the changes I went
through to achieve that beauty.
I want to enjoy the journey
and always remember that if
you give the ocean something
breakable it will turn it into
something beautiful.
I want to age like sea glass.

Wordless Wednesday

 Wordless Wednesday

We never dreamed our little Ambassador to Heaven would leave us as quickly as he came to us. Alastor Avery we will miss you until we meet you again, on the other side.

Alastor Avery Eveland-Fisher

12-18-18 to 08-04-19

It is hard to be wordless on this solemn day. Those who know me, know why I post my Scripture. Others don't.  We are all entitled to our choices in life but this is part of my story and it is a part of it I can never change. One day though, I hope to meet this precious boy on the other side of Heaven.

Happy Tuesday and More

 Happy Tuesday

I thought today I would make Sandee extra happy and post a few of my favorite Maxine's. The orange cones seem to be flying through the air as Maxine refuses to dodge them! That poor lil dog! Oh Maxine...

Maxine may be right on this one! We lived outdoors in the summertime, only coming in to eat lunch and than in the evening to have dinner and phamily time. The outdoors was our playground. I am glad I had the childhood I did.

Maxine, I totally agree with you. THANK YOU!

I have more pairs of Betty Boop earrings  than I have other earrings! I use to have t shirts and nightshirts and watches too. Betty Boop was before my generation but something about her has always made me smile. My middle sister had her entire kitchen in Betty Boop! Nicole, from my Princess Hoiuse days, had a Betty Boop collection that  was spectacular.

Welcome August

A new month, it seems like I changed the calendar date for July yesterday. Time sure moves quickly.

We have had such hot temps during the past few months. It was nice to get a few days of rain and cooler 70 degree days. Now the heat is coming back on. Be safe and have a wonderful new week.

His days are like a passing shadow." Psalm 144:4
