I am overwhelmed these days but think of each one of you that still stops by to visit me. I wanted to share some Sunday Sillies from the Real Peter Tork the former Monkee member and amazing musician. His social media is still active and I love the sillies shared there. Here they are:
Q. What do you get when you drop a pumpkin?
A. Squash
Q. What is the best thing to put in a pumpkin pie?
A. Your teeth of course!
Q. Who helped the baby pumpkin to cross the road?
A. The Crossing Gourd
Some wise words my son-in-law Zach shared with me and I shared with everyone else.
Do not ask your children
to strive for extraordinary lives.
Such striving may seem admirable,
but it is the way of foolishness.
Help them instead to find the wonder
and the marvel of an ordinary life.
Show them the joy of tasting
tomatoes, apples, and pears.
Show them how to cry
when pets and people die.
Show them the infinite pleasure
in the touch of a hand.
And make the ordinary come alive for them
The extraordinary will take care of itself.
Always good to lean on those who care and love you, phamily, friend...
A thoughtful boy...

I enjoyed the fun quips by Peter Tork. Cute pumpkin tales... and then the thoughts quoted by Zach are right on. This was all good (and fun) food for thought today!! Thank you. Hope you and yours have a blessed week.

Have a fabulous day and week, Anne. Big hugs. ♥
Did Zach author that advice? It's wonderful, and now I wish I'd had that back in the early 70's!
That's fantastic advice from Zach, Anne. Wow! It's so true.
Loved the corny jokes, too.
Blessings!
Wisdom and smiles, thank you!
