Happy Tuesday

Happy Tuesday Mylifelong friend Carole shared this and I had to share it too. She is one of the happiest and most positive people I know. She finds good in everything. We have been experiencing more than our fair share of crazy stuff around here. I shared at my other blog, the heat was out and it was cold! We use a company (Brothers Heating & Plumbing) and they have always done a great job. Austin saved the day for us and made us warm and happy. I know a few people who do not speak to their parents or parents not speaking to children. It is very sad. It will also be heartbreaking when one or the other passes away. There will be no time for forgiveness. Very sad.

Let's not break each other. Let's try to be kinder. The world won't care when we are no longer in it. Only the handful of those who love you truly will miss you. I am glad I was raised in a different time when people did not hate each other over nonsense. My parents loved their parents and they loved their siblings. when my mom lost her oldest sister, they were the only two remaining, my mother was broken. She felt like she should have gone first. I guess since all her other sisters were younger than the two of them, she thought she would leave this earth before her big sister. My dad took care of the widows in our phamily after the loss of their husbands. It was simply how he was raised.

My mother lost her sister Ann on this day in 1985 right after the loss of my dad on April 5th. My mother came fromt he greatest generation. Thiis world will never see such people again. Here is my aunt's wedding photo.

I found this,  Carole shared it too, and I loved it! It is so true:

"Tombstone" what a great movie about the old West. Val Kilmer as "Doc" Holiday. Sigh....

Oh Maxine, aren't you extra snarky today?

Enjoy the evening folks. I am hopeful we can be together tomorrow. Have a wonderful rest of the week.

I was raised in that same time as you. It was a better time in many ways too.

Maxine cracks me up. She just tells it like she sees it.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Love and hugs. ♥

Time spent hating is wasted time.

Glad you got the heat fixed.

Your poor Mom, she sure had her share of heartache.
