Aw...Mondays and More

Aw....Mondays I found this photo on a page at social media where I scan items about my hometown. My big sister Pat had one of these, they called them a gossip bench. They were designed to sit and "gossip" on the phone I suppose. To me, it is a very nostaglic piece of furniture and I have had my big sister on my mind. She would celebrate a wedding anniversary this month. But 20 years ago she went to her heavenly home.  She left in February, our mom in Novemver 2001. But I have memories, lots of precious memories and when I saw this silly ole bench I thought of my big sister. She was a rarity in this world. Just pure of heart, kind and very funny with the best laugh in the whole world. I often think of her and how I would love to pick up my phone and dial her number. We always had the best conversations.

You just can't start Monday without Love is....

A Quick Break and The Rest of the Story Tomorrow

Spending some quality time with my other half.

You bet I know how my sweetheart likes his coffee. Thank you Love is...for the reminder.

Oh the trials and tribulations of trying to maintain a good weight. That fridge can be a danger. It drives me batty to know people that have had great success with weight loss but they will not share unless they can get you to sign up for their plan. It is so annoying and the ads everywhere for weight loss. If something is a 100 percent sure fire weight loss plan wouldnt it be better to just spread that good news? Often what works for one person, does not for another. Just thinking out loud. It is very late, way past my bedtime so time for me to sign off. I will return with the remainder of my story tomorrow.

Aw...Mondays and Love is....

This is the bus station in my hometownof Pueblo, Colorado. They had a very nice lunch counter when I was a young working girl. Have you ever traveled by bus? Although I prefer train travel over all other types of travel, I once rode all the way from Pueblo to Alabama for my cousin Tommy's wedding. My mom took me and her sister, my auntie Ann took my cousin Joanne. I remember our mom's packed a lunch and my cousin and I still laugh about it. I don't think we were 60 miles out of town before Joanne and I polished off our portions of that delicious  fried chicken. As a 12 year old, I wasn't too concerned about the hours we rode on that bus but today, there is no way I would want to ride a  bus. Back in those days if someone stirred up trouble. the driver called ahead and stopped in the next town with a police escort to take that person off the bus. Times are sure different today. Stop by and visit Aw...Mondays

Love is...apparently never rode the bus across country.

Aw...Mondays with Love is....

Aw...Mondays

Please forgive me. I am having a tough time coming back to my real life after two weeks of fun with the kids. I miss my husband when he heads off to work tomorrow so I Just do not feel like doing anything at all. I will accept reality soon and be back to my daily routine.

Avery is the best back rubber, back scratcher. I am going to miss him this week while he heads back to his reality. AT least we can soak our feet together in the evening and have been doing that for the past 3 months.

Happiness is always a better choice than sadness or chaos or simply being overwhelemed.

Cat people, is this statement truthful? I thought I would share it for Aw....Mondays It gave me a chuckle.

Aw....Mondays and Love is....

Hoping you stp in for a visit with Sandee and friends today.

Love is...really know the ultimate gift is L O V E and it is free but worth everything. I love these little cartoons.

My lifelong friend Karen celebrates her birthday April 14th.  These words ring true for her and I. Together since we were infants, I would say we really do have a lasting friendship. I am thinking of using this photo to make her a birthday card. I do not have much in materials to create cards but I think I can manage making one for alifelong friend. Try 6-7 years long!

Although Annie has been on hiatus, this fit perfectly for Sparks. Pre is a favorite in this household, always and forever.

The Robinson's had a beautiful, blessed and near perfect Resurrection SONday, The kids hunted for eggs and each received a golden one with a cash surprise.  Rebekah and Zah were kind enough to snap some photos. A perfect ending to a lovely day.

Everything

Anyone imagined

Still lingers on, after 2,000 years

To send us the message to know

Eternity hangs in the balance

Reminding us to choose wisely

Prayers needed for those undergoing testing and surgery this week. Prayers kindly needed for those struggling with anxiety and other mental health issues. Prayers graterfully accepted for those hurting with life decisions and prayers for all who ask. The bible tells you, ask and you shall receive. I often ask God to givr me a sign. Boy He is quick to answer! He gave me exactly what I needed regarding getting my home in order. We have so many things we can do without and know others may need them. You know the saying, one man's trash is another's treasure. A friend many years ago said never bite the hand that is giving you something for free. It is a gift and gifts are becoming rare. Have a wonderful new week and rest well my friends.
