Friendly Fill In's Feline Friday

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I think the word or phrase ____________________ is overused.

2. I am embarrassed to admit that I _______________________.

3. I wish I could convince _________ to _________.

4. I could _________ even if I were blindfolded.

1. I think the word or phrase proactive is overused.

2. I am embarrassed to admit that I really do talk too much!

3. I wish I convince Avery to take me to The Grand Ole Opry to see

Bill Anderson in July. He celebrates 65 years as a member!

4. I could walk my entire house upstairs if blindfolded. Do not wish to

take a tumble down the basement stairs!

Hello Kitty gives great advice!

Do you like eye candy?  AG from the Denver Nuggets is great eye candy. But more importantly than that he took over the role of his late brother Drew who was killed in a car accident.  He is the best role model for his two young nephews. When the NBA season was in full swing Aaron brought the boys along with their mom to many games. A fan saw him at their school watching a basketball game with them too. He was raised right.

FELINE FRIDAY A FHUN QUIZ AND LIFE

 Feline Friday

I miss both of my kitties, Boots and Mister Kitty a/k/a as Tiger. I also miss Rose. She was Nick's girl. I swear she was left pawed! She would swing at you with her left paw. I love being left handed.

Rose left us in 2019. She was a beautiful girl with her gorgeous green eyes. Nick lost a real friend. She was so beautiful and she gave her heart to Nick.

This ornery fella Tiger a/k/a Mister Kitty left me in 2024 one of the toughest years we had as a phamily. I miss him annoying me. He was a scaredy cat! He loved to give Rose a hard time. But he loved my husband and they had a complicated relationship. He was a beautiful boy.

This one hurts me still. He passed away in 2012 and not one day goes by that I don't remember him and his kindness toward me. Lots of cats bite and scratch. He took care of me whenever Avery was away from me. He knew I was sick when I had all my shunt surgery. Good Lord I  loved him. Like my niece Sarah and my sweet friend Yesenia I believe al three of them were angels sent to earth to show us kindness. It is all I know.

Now that I cried some sad tears let me try to laugh. Here is a homemade quiz. Made by me. Feel free to add your own answers too.

QUIZ

1. Are you a cat lover?
    You bet!
2. What is your favorite thing to do?
Annoy my phamily! I listen to Bill Anderson's music all day long. He is such a talented singer/songwriter no one understands my love of his music.
3. Are you using your correct hand? That would be the left one!
Absolutely! Even mean ole nuns in Catholic school could not break me!
4. What season do you love best?
Spring and Fall. Maybe this year when we visit the grandbabies in Western NY we can travel to Maine to see the foliage.
5. Are you a book reader or do you do all the more modern kinds of reading?
I am a book lover. There is nothing better than a book in my hands. I love turning the pages to see what is next.
6. Do you need a shrink? I am not being mean but I want to make you smile.

Would you mind if you saw Shaq for a little canine therapy??
He is very shy too so you could help each other.

   7. Yes it is International Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! Have one....it won't hurt!
8. Prayer
If you are a prayer warrior is is hard sometime to find the words to say? Do you get frustrated thinking God is not listening? My my sweet friend, He is! Trust me, He is working on your problem as you think He is not! Give it up to Him!
 9.
A thoughtful prayers warrior sent me this! I am sending it to you!

10.
My great cousin Kristen had retired after teaching little ones for many years. She started to tell her husband a story about wonderful vacations she had as a child. She asked him a questions and he replied "Huh...what?? Proof that men do not listen to women! Any rebuttals?!
Precious grand girl Addy graduated from high school on May 12, 2026. Avery came home from work exhausted. He had been standing on his feet all day long! So we were unable to attend the ceremony. But our son Jeremy sent us the link and we watched her graduate on line! Avery rises at five a.m. daily M-F. They were barely getting out of the event center at 11:15 P.M. So we will see Addy at her party next weekend and wish her well. The boys were so good but as you can see, Jeremy handed his "class clown" abilities to Blake! Although extremely intelligent, this boy has a knack for making you laugh at loud. Brody is growing up too quickly and I blink each time I see him, wiser and more athletic and sharp.  Brittany was so proud of her girl! Addy is one kind soul.
I am saving my other photo shares for my other blog Phamily Blog
I hope to see you there a bit later.

STEALING SUNDAY & A QUOTE OR TWO

Please visit Wordless Wednesday  You will see, I am hardly ever wordless!!!

I am trying to get updated on my blogs. Please please please bear with me. What a crazy few months we have had. This is an old post I decided to throw out there. I am out of tune at blog land. Love you all very much though. Have a beautiful  THURSDAY and FRIDAY!

Since I am pecking away like Hansel and Gretel with their breadcrumbs, I am not certain who does Feline Friday . I hope I will get a few comments so I can get back into the swing of things here.

We have a new grandboy born May1. He is his grandpa Avery's namesake. Big brother is happy he is here and he came into the world quickly. No doctor at the hospital, he was taking his sweet time, I suppose. Thank God there are good nurses and a mid-wife happened to be at the desk! That boy was a bit late but once ready for this world he make like a flash! Flash Gordon perhaps?

I found cute outfits for them that say "A Little Dirt Never Hurt". Reminded me of boys in general and a song called "Get A Little Dirt On Your Hands" It was written by my very favorite country singer/songwriter, Whisperin Bill Anderson. He did the song this past Saturday at the Grand Ole Opry in memory of David Allen Coe who passed away April 29, 2026 at the age of 86. David and Bill collaborated on this song and Bill's tribute to David was especially beautiful. Has anyone been to the Opry? I would love to go, my husband is not thrilled. Everyone who would want to go are friends who enjoy partying and I am past that . I take life slow and savor it.

So much going on in our world.  Avery and I have so many appointments. In the words of my oldest and most hilarious friend Karen who resides in Idaho these days, "do you know what a good day or week is?" One where you don't have any doctor appointments! She is a colon cancer survivor. Her husband Chris had Macular surgery and cataract surgery last year. He is doing excellent.  They are such fun friends.

Two weeks ago I was eating a cup of yogurt at breakfast when my gold crown came rolling out of my mouth! It is a golden oldie so I needed a dentist fast. I am deathly afraid of MRI's (claustrophobia) and dentists. Had a horrible experience in 2020 with a dentist. I was grateful to find the best dental office where they treated me like a precious jewel. I am going to get my new crown next week as well as a second one for the other side of my teeth. Avery has excellent dental insurance so the damage was not as awful as we might have thought. I love the hygienist Alyssa. She laughs with you instead of at you! An excellent person and terrific at her job.. Paedra ( I need to check her spelling) the dental asst. was also a gem. Her name is so beautiful but I know it as Phaedra by Lee Hazelwood. It is his grand daughter name and the late Mr. Greenwood wrote a song titled "Phaedra" which is really beauitful.

A feline quote for this Friday-

" The bond with a cat , isn't built on words, but moments you feel more than you can explain."

More quotes in a variety of some of my favorites.

"We ourselves feel that what  we are doing is just a drop in the ocean but the ocean would be less because of that missing drop." Mother Teresa

" Patience is Power" Fulton J Sheen

" Unless souls are saved, nothing is saved." Fulton J Sheen

"Love is a mutual self giving which ends in self-recovery." Fulton  J  Sheen

"She gives encouraging advice she is unconditional , she offers a sincere,  true love that does not know limits."

This final Fulton J Sheen quotes highlights the core qualities of a mother's love, emphasizing it's strength , devotion and lack of boundaries."
